Payment & Pricing Print

We've worked hard to create pricing that is easy on your wallet while also assuring that we are able to maintain quality service.

Online payments are handled exclusively through PayPal. We've chosen PayPal for its high security standards and ease of use - protecting both your financial information and your sanity.

PayPal allows you to choose between paying with a credit card, e-checks or even directly from your bank account. It utilizes the latest encryption security to make sure your transaction information is completely secure.

The Break Down

  1. Pay $19 online as a deposit, assuring you will have a helper on hand as soon as you need.
  2. Pay the remaining 250 RMB (about $31) directly to the helper provided for you.
  3. Sit back and rest easy that you'll not have to battle with misunderstandings, getting lost, confusion, or massively inflated 'foreigner' prices.

Note: Should your particular circumstances prohibit you from using PayPal for any reason, please contact us to see if other arrangements can be made.

1This is the amount you pay, via PayPal, as the deposit. The more days you require a Pal for, the more of a discount we give you. This amount is paid in US dollars.

2This is the amount you pay, in Chinese RMB, directly to your Pal upon meeting them. You are welcome to pay the total amount on the first day, or divide it into 250 RMB/day payments over the course of your stay. Please choose the system that makes you feel most comfortable.

3This amount is for reference only. It is calculated using our standardized exchange rate policy. As the USD/RMB exchange rate fluctuates frequently, we've chosen the average exchange ratio of 1:8. Should the rate change drastically, our pricing will adjust to match.

How Overtime (OT) Works

Being a Your China Pal can be quite a tiring activity, so in the interest of our Pals we try and keep things to an eight hour day. However, sometimes special circumstances dictate otherwise, and we're happy to help.

For each hour over the initial eight hours, simply pay the Pal an additional 40 RMB (about $5 USD). Please round up to the nearest half hour (in 20 RMB increments).

Overtime can be negotiated beforehand, or on the day, but ultimately it will be up to the Pal to agree to the extra hours. Please just make a note about this when filling out your order form, and we'll do our best to find a Pal that doesn't mind working the longer hours.

Definition of 'working': As a general rule, any time a Pal spends with you is considered 'working'. The nature of this service often sees our Pals in social settings, so to avoid any misunderstandings, our Pals are not allowed to engage socially with clients 'off the clock'.
